Is it possible to redirect the user to the previous page they where on, instead of the home page?

it is no possible
you can make a page with only one javascript script with history.back();
and in autologin plugin setting put that page url

Hint for Joomla 3.2:

1. Go to Extensions->Plu gin Manager
2. Find and enter the "System - Autologin" plugin
3. Change password type to "plain"

Please add a hint in your description!
This was not necessary in an earlier version...

I think I saw a comment that this doesn't work in J 3.2
I tried it and I think that it does NOT work in 3.2
Please can you advise.

I have installed autologin in my joomla. I have set the redirect Url as well.
IF i pass the username and password in the url, it redirects me. In case i dont pass the username and password, it takes me to the correct website.
could someone help me with this.

Hello Andrea,

I've installed your plugin on my site and it works OK, but only with the plain password.

When I copy de MD5-hash from de database and in the plugin settings witch to encrypted, it does redirect me to the right page, but when I go to the login page, its shows me I'm not logged in (when I'm using plain password, it shows I'm logged in).

Kind regards,
Marco Visser

Two Questions:

1. How can we use this when the Username is an email address?

2. How can we automatically generate a new password for new users?

PS. Basically we want to use AcyMailing to send new clients, their new account info. Grazie.
